It's less than 40 days until the kickoff of the 2007 season; the first for the Catamounts in over 30 years. We are also less than four weeks away from the beginning of fall practices.
I can tell you that the entire coaching staff and the players alike are very excited to begin fall practice. Here's where we stand heading into the 2007 season:
Players have been participating in their own unsupervised, offseason workout programs throughout the summer. Or, at least, the'd better be! I'll know by the end of our first practice who's been working out and who hasn't.
I'm asked constantly about where we'll be playing our home games. When we know, we'll make a very public statement; so, please be patient a bit longer.
Because of job-related reasons, our coaching staff has gotten a bit smaller. So, the team is still looking for volunteer coaches. Please contact us if you'd like to volunteer.
The club is still about $10,000 short of it's fundraising goal. Please help us by sponsoring the team: even the smallest donation goes a long way!
The support we've been receiving has been overwhelming and we really do appreciate it. Please continue to tell your family, friends, and co-workers about us!
